Boost your chances to get a job
I simply hate when my application gets ghosted and I'm sure you're tired of your CV getting lost in hundreds of applications. I've built a journey assisted by AI that is ...

This AI assisted tool is part of my CMS module. It's focused to tailor resumes, embed where it's possible, video stories and boost your standout factor. The first big problem that I've encountered when applying to jobs was that it took a lot of time to fill information, and it produced little to no results. So my first question and the problem to solve was
How to save hours in the application process
while captivating recruiters with dynamic and personalized content. This might sound counterintuitive, but this is what I found and I want to share with you so you can understand how your actions and your strategy can affect the results you're seeking. Applying endlessly to jobs did not raise my chances of success. I know that because in the past two years I have applied to thousands and thousands of jobs and throughout my entire career to tens of thousands of jobs, which gives me a pretty big—I'd call it a giant—application data sample where I can derive a very deep understanding. This unexpected change happened ...
A normal person such as you and I might think that applying to more and more jobs increases your chances of success.
That is totally true, you might say, however, when you play with numbers, you might encounter some unexpected and truth-revealing scenarios. And one of them is that no matter how many jobs you apply to, if the chances are very low, the end result is still not satisfying.
When I was job hunting, before the AI era
I used to get on hot days around 30 to 50 phone calls daily and I would get interviews almost on a daily basis, with some days even peaking at 3 to 5 interviews during a day. That age has sunset, and what I mean by that is that it is dead. It no longer happens.
Towards the end of 2024, I made some big changes in my strategy, as well as in the app that I'm building right now. When I started 2025 fresh, I also got on average 10 calls per week—phone calls from recruiters—and the number of interviews has increased. I think I had around 12 more interviews, and out of them I received three job offers. One was a bit shady, there were too many signs of not being a good fit, so I didn't pay too much attention to it. And the other two were good ones, although one of them was paying just a bit less than the other. And it was also requiring one of the pieces of technology that I'm not very keen to work with. So I ended up with the last one, which sounded like a good fit at the moment, until I started my first week. I will wake up with butterflies in my stomach and negative tension. I'll spend my day very tense and I'll go to sleep the same way.
I'm either very unlucky at picking the right job or my job radar is totally broken and I need to fix it.
The company investors made some big changes, so two of the teams that I knew of got halved and I, as a new joiner, was among the ones that we're in the position to be let go. Well, if my assignments were more on the front-end side, where I love to spend my time and not on media conversion, I might have had a better chance and also wanted to stay. However, I embraced departing and continue on the finding of a new job adventure.
So let's see how my usual day used to look like.
And it wouldn't take more than two hours, usually three. However, there were some days where I would spend the entire day either applying for jobs or working on tests or revamping my CVs, cover letters, strategy.
So, imagine that at some point it felt like a full-time job just to apply for jobs. While the reality says you have to keep pushing until you get results, and I understand and accept it, I also know that the quality of the current job application process, from searching to getting phone calls to interviews and landing a job, is definitely not something anybody likes or enjoys. It's just broken. It's truly broken. I would say it's a living nightmare nobody wants to be in, and just because you have to be the family provider, you're jumping into this boat that sails through for some quieter days, but mostly stormy. So my next question was if I can do something about it, can I change something?
My goal is to raise the chances to the maximum for each job application and I know I have to spend more time on... Creating an experience, applying to a job that has lots of value in it and connects with people from human resources or recruiters on a deeper level.
There are a lot of steps involved in this process and I'll share a few of them with you.
I want to do deeper company research and also a presentation for each job, and from those to derive a cover letter—a very special cover letter. When I'm done crafting all of those ones, I also want to share my findings on my website and, where possible, provide a link for other applicants to use it and apply for the job. Since I know my chances of getting a job are buried down by some robots scanning the CVs and automated systems providing rejected, you have been rejected replies, maybe someone else is lucky enough to go through. So I'm happy knowing that I or someone else has a higher chance, and I've played my part in connecting skilled people with companies needing digital services.
