why my website needs a sitemap for SEO
so I'll share the why I need one and my thought process journey

and now I begin to think that Google has a hard time finding everything on my website on its own. Yes, I understand that here is not enough time to do everything and as a business I have to prioritize the tasks that bring the most value first, however I also begin to think that the more you leave some tasks in pending the more the need for them starts to grow.
To keep it short, there is a cost attached to not doing something, and I start to wonder what would that delay cost me. I really don't have an answer, just a feeling that grows on me more and more. This is the same feeling that made me realize that
I want to address this right away, so I can asses if Google Search engine is still a thing with all the AI buzz happening every single day and position myself in a place where I can assess how much effort I should put into the old SEO.
Since I built the landing pages, or the public routes with AstroJS, this shouldn't be a big issue. At the same time I've experimented a bit at the start of the year with a multi-language website, and those links are no longer valid, so I have quite a few links that are dead, and need to be dealt with.
Speaking of dead links, while I enable the sitemap feature on my websites, I'll also have a quick look to see what approaches I have available to instruct Google about the dead links.
Fingers crossed that there can be a quick and simple solution, where I can provide a list of links to remove from the index, and watch it in time to see if it happened.
With this said, I'll jump on and do some coding!
